About the event
Bring your book, your own seating, and snacks and join us at Eloise Lundy Park for a total of 4 group study sessions. Each session will include an amazing guest speaker, collective reading time, and discussions. We realize that we need to spend time sharing knowledge and wisdom with each other while exploring black history meaningfully. Meeting dates at the first 4 Saturdays in July. 1st, 8th, 15th, ending on the 22nd. The goal is to ALL complete the book because we believe in Reading for Freedom. All ages and reading levels are welcome to this event. The tickets are $5 per session or $15 for all 4 sessions. If you don't choose to participate but would still like to donate.
